lol You don't HAVE to. The status updates will auto post to the fanpage, so you won't "miss" anything. But reposting or sharing the status update is easier on twitter, but there's no REAL difference p.s., FANPAGE HAS BEEN MADE! www.facebook.com/Cyphan

You guys can also TAG and POST images on fanpages, now, so if you have a Cyphan album or pictures from any of the Cyphans you've been to, TAG THE PAGE!

p.s., Bollow...
D23's twitter (that's Disney's convention) posts random trivia questions about disney related things it seems inbetween events.
Shall we do the same thing but with nerdy sci-fi stuff?

That's perfect actually! It'll keep fans engaged and if it automatically posts on the fan page, then even better! I still say post up simple contests where you can give away a free shirt or poster, or something. -River

^ Only if Bollow can afford it! But I definitely think that's a good idea. Maybe 1 items every 2 weeks? 1 per month? 1 a week?
Maybe every Friday? Cy-Fri? HAHAH

LOL,
I'll be conservative and say once a month for the prize. this way Bollow isn't shelving out loads of $$ for giveaways.

Agreed. I think until we have a huge fanbase on the social networking sites, I think once a week on a friday would be bamf.

On Twitter, Cyphan's feed could be "trivia tuesdays"? Winner gets a follow or a RT (which will matter big time once numbers are huge).
I just feel like I'll need some super hard questions from things like BSG and Dr Who (you know, all the shows I DON'T watch lol)

Dude,
That's easy! There are tons of BSG and Who trivia on the internets. I'm confident you can find something that's a mind blower.
May I suggest that if you ask any of us here on the boards, that person should be aware that they can't participate in the trivia. Or have their buddies. That would totally suck for others who may want to have an honest shot at it.
I'm sure there's a few of us willing to give you those trivia questions to save you time, and not worry about the prize.

What a lot of video game (particiularly XBOX) does on twitter, is have contests on twitter, and "first to respond gets a code to redeem" which is like an avatar, or a DLC or whatever. Which is GREAT! it's just a "first to respond, and you only can win once" kind of thing. So, if we do this, we'll have to track it and not just by twitter username (as those can change) but my name, email, location.

Sounds like a plan to me! Now we just need Bollow to sign off on this.
