You know, Jonathan Frakes was a cool dude but I did NOT think he was the dreamboat that TNG made him out to be. I had a crush on Brent Spiner for sure.

If you are thinking of somebody sexy, new, from a popular show or movie... forget it. Anybody from True Blood is gonna be $15k - $20k. Even Jill Wagner (the Mercury Girl) is $20k. MB That's why I suggested Jessica Tuck. I mean, I think she's sexy, but that's just because, to me, she's Megan from One Life to Live (from the 80s). I could be wrong, but I don't think the spokeswoman for the AVL is in high demand in relationship to TB. However, you're right, I wouldn't have guessed that about Picardo, either.

Also to keep in mind, if we want to appeal to young audiences, having actors from movies/tv shows since before they were born does effect that. Not ALL the time (I'm an example), but we're talking younger than me...
... the I love Justin Bieber and lyke totally omg I totally play video games crowd. lol

Granted I don't know how expensive either of these would be considering their shows were both cancelled from Syfy. But they both seem to love the fans and are younger upcoming actors.

I'm gonna schmooze down at DragonCon and see what stars I can get to attend cheaply. The fact that I am now known by bigger starts like Jewel Staite and can walk right up to them and get a big hug looks good. PLUS my rep is outstanding for not only treating my stars well but PAYING them.
I'd really really really love Felicia Day....

Dan Aykroyd would be awesome, but that's wishful thinking.

You what would be really neat? What if we got a handful of character actors that everybody has seen is stuff, but don't know their names. I'm not thinking of anyone in particular, but you know what I'm talking about. That guy who played a jillion different roles in Star Trek and none of his characters ever had names and also appeared in X-Files, Stargate and Guiding Light (That's just a fabrication for illustration, not a real person).

^ Who is that!
Bollow, Gates McFadden, Wil Wheaton and Brent Spiner are going to be at DCon. Altho Brent might be just a bit out of reach, but Wil Wheaton and Gates might be a catch? Especially since Wil Wheaton isn't on the Guild anymore.

So, character actors from multiple genres:
-Tony Todd (Candyman, Star Trek, Chuck, Final Destination, The Event, Psych, Transformers, Stargate, voice work on Batman: Brave and the Bold) -Ronny Cox (RoboCop, Total Recall, Star Trek, Spawn, Time Trax, Captain America (1990)) -Jeffrey Combs (The Re-Animator, many Star Trek appearances, the 4400, voice work on Batman, Batman: The Brave and the Bold and Justice League) -Dick Miller (Gremlins, Gremlins 2, guest spots on ST:TNG and ST:DS9)

This might be too big a name, but what about Brian Thompson? He's been in SO many things - he's totally that guy you see in horror and sci-fi films all the time and you say, "Hey, that's that guy form .... 20 other films!" Terminator, Knight Rider, Werewolf the Series, Kindred the Embraced, Fright Night 2, Alien Nation, ST:TNG and DS9 and Enterprise, Superboy, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Weird Science (TV series), Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, X-Files, Birds of Prey, Charmed, Chuck, Dragonheart.
Boy, this guy covers just about ever genre Cyphan does! He's like the Cyphan poster child.
