I'm so happy to make you squeal Sparrow! ;D
The other actor I am looking at who would then wrap up the celebrity thing is Julian Glover. He's been in EVERYTHING that fans love and hold dear:
Glover achieved fame in Hollywood by playing roles in such popular films as Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980), For Your Eyes Only (1981) and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). He has also appeared on DOCTOR WHO (several times) and is currently being seen in the HBO series GAME OF THRONES (check your local listings).
At the risk of sounding like one of the dreaded "old" fans... I think this guy would inspire a lot of great memories and I have heard he's a joy to talk to.

I can't put this out there officially, but the two celebrity guests for Cyphan 3 are....
Doug Jones and Julian Glover!
I am really excited about these two and I think they are a perfect fit for the kind of folks that attend Cyphan.
Golf clap? Scream of delight? Whatcha got??

So... Doug Jones was just in Chicago a week or so ago and will be at Wizard too. I didn't know this.
That kind of takes the wind from his sails. Book him anyway or keep searching? We need to hit a home run with this guest star slot and I'm afraid he's no longer going to have a WOW factor.
Thoughts??

I still think bring him in, remember we're also the more "casual" convention where you actually have a chance to ya know... party and hang out, instead of "COME IN, SHAKE HIS HAND, GTFO OF THE PHOTOBOOTH" types.
Especially if he's all for it, why not right? If we get on good terms with HIM, then maybe his word of mouth will spread on his travels to other cons. His website DOES say he goes to conventions/events a LOT so it was going to be a given. But then again, how big has he been at these? Lots of people don't know him by his name, just what he's done.

Honestly, I think Cyphan should become better known for actually meeting their guests instead of just a handshake and a photo; it's why I think Doug Jones is perfect. He seems to like people.

^ That's what I was saying for him, too. But if we need to think of alternatives to replace, here are my top two:
Tara Strong Steven Blum

I would second Tara Strong and suggest Maurice LaMarche (again) as another awesome voice actor who is in...almost everything. The two of them worked on Extreme Ghostbusters together.

Just as a heads up, Epic Meal Time is in LA shooting a pilot for a show on G4TV... They're not just "YouTube celebs" anymore!
